Unlike many other "loan officers" in Arizona, I am educated and qualified to assist you with your home financing.
Recently national loan officer licensing was put into effect, however your "loan officer" may not have a license. I have taken both my national and state required education and have been approved nationally with NMLS and in Arizona with the Department of Financial Institutions. You may want to ask you loan officer if they too are licensed.
I have been working in the mortgage business since 2001. I am the founder of The Bookspan Team and co-branch manager of Cobalt Mortgage in Scottsdale. I have originated over $100 million in home loans.
Raised in Phoenix, I attended the University of Arizona, where I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. After moving back to Phoenix, I earned my Master of Business Administration from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University.
I am also a Certified Mortgage Planning Specialist (CMPS) -- the only mortgage designation recognized by the Financial Planners Association. Additionally, I have had the privilege of being part of several non-profit organizations, where I teach courses in first-time home buying, real estate investing and financial literacy.
I am truly passionate about educating clients about the home mortgage process and ensuring that they make the best mortgage decision that works within their long-term financial plans.
